Your Team. Your Choice. Choose Salem Health.

Salem Health does more than provide high quality patient care. It is an organization that commits itself to empowering teams to create, innovate, and dream. We are looking for individuals who can challenge the status quo, raise the bar, and embrace change.

At Salem Health, we want trailblazers, self-starters, and creative thinkers to drive improvement in the health care arena where “patient-centered” is more than just words.

The West Valley Hospital Medical Services Tech functions as part of a professional healthcare team, with a team focus on providing excellent patient care that exceeds our patient’s expectations. The Clinical Tech will be involved in patient assessments, assisting other team members with patient care, and working side-by-side with others to implement the patient’s plan of care. There may also be opportunities to cross-train to other departments within the hospital, such as the Emergency Department.

As a critical access hospital, the West Valley Hospital Medical Services Unit serves the community in a unique way.  This department consists of 6 beds that are utilized for inpatient and outpatient services. Our inpatient population consists of acute care patients requiring admission for up to 96 hours. Our outpatient services include patients requiring overnight observation as well as patients requiring skilled nursing care.  You can be a part of this tight-knit group of healthcare professionals that delivers care in a team-focused environment.  As a team member, you will contribute to the many staff-led projects that are designed to deliver the highest quality of care at all times.

West Valley Hospital supports a culture of continuous education and professional development.  There are benefits offered for special responsibilities and educational accomplishments such as tuition reimbursement, and a program that rewards professional excellence in the areas of service, performance and professional development, quality, people, and community.
