    Description/Qualifications

    The HR Business Partner provides leadership, guidance and counsel to organizational leaders on matters related to talent, change, strategy and human capital. The Business Partner will ensure effective planning and implementation of key initiatives that affect the workforce. Acts as an internal resource by establishing credibility and trust with leaders as a valuable and confidential sounding board for business and people issues. Partners with other members of the HR Team to implement key strategies and initiatives to meet business objectives. Monitors the “pulse” of assigned departments and identifies and facilitates needed support and/or interventions. Works with customer groups to facilitate resolution of employee relations issues, redeployment including organizational structure changes, bench strength and performance management. Helps provide training and leadership skill development under the guidance of the Sr. HR Business Partners and the Director to meet organizational development needs. Provides coaching on recruitment and strategic sourcing for some client areas. Provides consultation to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices.   Monitors and administers practices to ensure customer departments comply with FLSA, Wage & Hour, FMLA, OFLA, ADA, EEOC, ERISA, Joint Commission, and applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules and regulations that pertain to people management.  Participates and/or manages HR projects of a various nature as needed.  Experience supporting a Magnet designated health care system is strongly preferred.  Experience with a culture of LEAN is strongly preferred.  A Bachelor degree and minimum two years experience in the role of a BP are required.
