    The Patient Navigator Associate is a professional member of the Salem Cancer Institute (SCI) interdisciplinary team working with assigned patients, completing tasks that assist in patient navigation and management. The Patient Navigator Associate provides general patient/family/community education about community resources and health care services as assigned by RN Navigator and Master Social Worker (MSW).


    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Bachelor's Degree in Social Work preferred. 
    • Completion of the Oncology 101 within six (6) months of hire. 
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical setting using similar skills and performing similar activities required. 
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) card issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required within three (3) months from date of hire.
    • Knowledge of computer systems and applications used to perform the duties of the position including, but not limited to: Epic, Aria, Oncology, Microsoft Office.
